Hanukkah starts this Sunday! Here are some events in and around DC:

National Hanukkah Menorah Lighting

Sunday, December 6, 2015, 4 p.m., rain or shine.

The National Hanukkah Menorah is lit on the White House grounds, at the Ellipse (near the White House at the NW end, near Constitution Avenue)

A DC tradition! To start off the Hanukkah celebration this year, attend the lighting of the world’s largest menorah in one of the most prominent public Hanukkah celebrations in the world. Hot doughnuts and latkes will be available for purchase during the event to keep your hands nice and toasty!

Tuesday, December 8th, 6pm to 8:30pm

Pentagon Row (Outdoor Rink), 1201 South Joyce Street, Arlington, VA

Tickets are $10 in advance or $13 at the door, that includes  covers cost of skate rentals as well. Food, however, is sold separately. The lighting ceremony is open to all.

A cute de-stressing event as those finals start to roll around! Skate with Family and Friends! Free raffle! Lighting a GIANT six foot tall Menorah! Eat dinner!
